Eastern Mennonite University – Roselawn
Roselawn Dormitory was constructed in the 1970s and was no longer suited as a residence hall. Bluelines developed a three-step plan for converting the dormitory into administrative and instructional spaces. Phase 1 was conversion of the first floor into instructional, social and office space for the University’s Intensive English Program (IEP). Critical to continued use of the building were the addition of air-conditioning, making the building accessible, and combining small rooms into the larger, flexible spaces needed for IEP’s instructional model.
