When Harrisonburg-Rockingham Community Services Board (HRCSB) received notice of state funding for a facility intended to divert non-violent persons suffering mental crisis from the jail or hospital, Blueline fast-tracked the development of plans so HRCSB could seek approval from its board, the county and the city. The facility accommodates seven persons for up to 15 days under 24 hour supervision. All features and fixtures are detailed so as to prevent self-har by residents. The fully accessible building includes a group meeting room, staff offices and a medical exam room. The building’s second story is left unfinished for future office expansion.
